Macclesfield Canal – Scholar Green (Cinderhill Lane) (Warrington Anglers Association) is a short (~500m) WAA-controlled length of canal near the Trent & Mersey junction, which can ‘pull’ when locks are worked. The club notes plenty of roach and bream with gudgeon/perch and eels, plus occasional carp and tench. Park in Cinderhill Lane or near Bridge 87 (Rising Sun). Members-only — check WAA rules and be mindful of overhead cables and local residents.
