Description

Rossmere is one of the Cheshire stillwaters available to members of the Prince Albert Angling Society. Set close to Macclesfield, it offers a peaceful, natural setting with a mix of open water, margins and features that suit both pleasure and match-style approaches. Rossmere is a scenic venue that can produce well when you fish accurately to features and build a swim over time. A mix of float and feeder tactics usually covers most situations on the lake. Typical tactics include float fishing to the margins, method feeder work to key features and light legering for bites at range. As with all club waters, anglers should check current rules, permitted baits, parking and any seasonal restrictions before travelling. A current Environment Agency rod licence is required, and access is for members/permit holders only unless otherwise stated by the club.
