Description

River Dean is a river in Cheshire, controlled by Bollington & Royal Oak Angling Society. Access by permit/permission. This is typical small-to-medium river fishing with a mix of runs, glides and deeper bends. Trotting a stick float, rolling meat, or quiver-tipping with maggot, caster or pellet are reliable approaches. After rain, colour and extra flow can switch fish on; in low clear conditions, keep line and feed light. Check club rules and any local restrictions before you go (parking, gates/keys, keepnet rules and match closures). Please fish responsibly and leave no litter. Swims and bankside access can vary; take care on steep or overgrown banks and consider a landing net and unhooking mat where appropriate.
