Redesmere (Prince Albert Angling Society)

Description

Redesmere is one of the Cheshire stillwaters available to members of the Prince Albert Angling Society. Set close to Macclesfield Forest, it offers a peaceful, natural setting with a mix of open water, margins and features that suit both pleasure and match-style approaches. Redesmere is an atmospheric water set among woodland and open banks. It often fishes best when you stay mobile, keep disturbance low and adjust to changes in light and wind throughout the day. Typical tactics include float fishing to the margins, method feeder work to key features and light legering for bites at range. As with all club waters, anglers should check current rules, permitted baits, parking and any seasonal restrictions before travelling. A current Environment Agency rod licence is required, and access is for members/permit holders only unless otherwise stated by the club.
