Hunters Pool (Windmill Angling Club)

Hunters Pool is a stillwater fishery in Cheshire, controlled by Windmill Angling Club. Club water (members/permits). Target species include Carp, Tench, Bream, Ide, Roach and Perch. A stillwater venue where you can fish methods to suit the swim and season. Pole and waggler tactics cover most situations, while feeder and carp-style approaches come into play as temperatures rise. Start by plumbing the swim, locating shelves/features, and building a modest, regular feed pattern rather than over-feeding. Check club rules and any local restrictions before you go (parking, gates/keys, keepnet rules and match closures). Please fish responsibly and leave no litter. Swims and bankside access can vary; take care on steep or overgrown banks and consider a landing net and unhooking mat where appropriate.
