Cartwheel (Kirklees Valley)

Cartwheel (Kirklees Valley)
Cartwheel (Kirklees Valley)

Description

Cartwheel (Kirklees Valley) is a small well-stocked woodland lodge with decked pegs in Greater Manchester offering Bury & District Angling Society water with day tickets available. Expect bream, carp, F1 carp, perch, roach depending on season and conditions. It’s a great venue for a short-session ‘numbers’ approach, with method feeder or pole lines producing steady sport and the chance of surprise better fish. Vehicle access may require a gate code for the Mill Street car park—members receive it annually and day-ticket holders are typically provided it before booking. Please check local rules before you fish (close seasons, bait limits and any night-fishing or net restrictions may apply). Take litter home, respect nearby residents and wildlife, and keep noise down.
